W składzie fotograf i redaktor polskich indymediów wysiadamy na ulicy Marszałkowskiej przy granicy strefy zero, przy parku Saskim. Jak można się było spodziewać - silna obstawa policyjna, za podwójną barierka, funkcjonariusze jedynie w ubraniach ochronnych nie uzbrojeni, wspierani z tyłu około trzydziestoma radiowozami typu van oraz armatką wodną. Nie mieliśmy problemu z robieniem zdjęć, aczkolwiek żaden z policjantów nie chciał z nami rozmawiać, jesteśmy odsyłani do rzecznika prasowego w Komendzie Głównej Policji. Sytuacja spokojna, na niebie helikoptery policyjne. 11:52
Dziennikarze Super Ekspresu robią nam zdjęcia, a następnie - widocznie przełamawszy nieśmiałość, zaczynają z nami rozmawiać, pytać o antyszczyt i jak widzimy kwestię jego bezpieczeństwa, dla kogo pracujemy, zwracając się do nas „a koledzy po fachu to, a koledzy po fachu tamto” ;). Wyznają także że myśleli że jesteśmy policyjnymi prowokatorami. Pożegnaliśmy się szybko. 12:00 Rotunda, rondo Dmowskiego.
Rozpoczyna się „niezależna” akcja informacyjna pod hasłem „Strefa wrażliwości na globalizm”, a ściślej pojawiają się dwie pierwsze osoby ze zwiniętym transparentem, które (zapewne zachęcone legitymacjami prasowymi) podchodzą do nas pierwsze informując nas o akcji, czekamy jednakże na jej głównego koordynatora, jako że powyższe dwie osoby nie czuły się kompetentne do udzielania oficjalnych informacji. Zadziwiająco skąpa „protekcja” rozpoznawalnej policji, zaledwie dwa radiowozy i jeden patrol. 12:10
Pojawia się główny koordynator akcji informacyjnej „Strefa wrażliwości na globalizm”, który udzielił nam następujących informacji na jej temat. Zapytany o cel akcji, tłumaczy, że ma ona charakter niezależny, jej członkowie nie przedstawiają za jej pomocą prywatnych poglądów politycznych poza kluczową kwestią globalizacji. Grupa zawiązała się bardzo spontanicznie, (w zeszłą sobotę), liczy piętnaście osób zrekrutowanych wśród „młodej inteligencji Warszawskiej”, zrzeszonej w strukturze niehierarhicznej. Przed akcją przeprowadzono akcję propagandową w internecie, oraz rozlepiono plakaty. Według naszego informatora, (który niestety nie chciał ujawnić swojego imienia i nazwiska) akcja jest legalizowana i nie ma charakteru pikiety czy demonstracji, ma jedynie pełnić funkcję informacyjno - edukacyjną skierowaną do „szarego” warszawiaka i do szarej warszawianki. Organizatorzy postawili sobie za cel odczernienie wizerunku alterglobalistów, poprzez bezpośrednie rozmowy z osobami zainteresowanymi tematem, kolportaż ulotek informacyjnych, rozstawienie słupów informacyjnych zbudowanych z kartonów, oklejonych dużą ilością krótkich i treściwych tekstów przybliżających problematykę globalizacji. Stoisko informacyjne ozdabiają transparenty o treści „Inny świat jest możliwy”, „Ludzie i planeta przed zyskiem”. Koło stoiska rozłożono także dywan z napisem „Strefa wrażliwości na globalizm”. Akcja ma trwać od godziny 12:00 do 18:00. Do godziny 12:30 przyciągnęła jedynie pokaźną rzeszę dziennikarzy, oraz dwie małe grupki, wyglądem (nie rozmawialiśmy z nimi) utożsamiające się z ruchem punk (jednakże grupy te stały z boku, i w czasie kiedy tam przebywaliśmy nie skorzystali z funkcji edukacyjnej stoiska.). 12:35
Odwiedzamy znajdującą się przy Rotundzie zabitą dechami restaurację KFC, mijamy stoją przy wejściu grupę policjantów z pionu kryminalnego (oprócz podejrzliwych spojrzeń do niczego nie doszło). Trzy kroki za drzwiami, zostaliśmy „napadnięci” przez kobietę, która - cytat: „Jest managerem, ale w zastępstwie” i z tego powodu nie czuje się zobligowana do odpowiadania nam na tak newralgiczne pytania, jak „Co sądzi pani o szczycie” i „ Oraz czy obawia się pani alterglobalistów”. Zabroniono nam robić zdjęcia. 12:55
Znajdujemy się na placu Trzech Krzyży, przy kolejnej strefie zero w pobliżu sejmu i senatu. Tutaj obstawa policyjna silniejsza, wspierana przez ABW, policjanci bez jakiejkolwiek broni, aczkolwiek w pełnych pancerzach, i przewieszonymi przez ramię wojskowymi torbami. Robimy zdjęcia, przez co policja poczuła się sprowokowana, i dostajemy ostrzeżenie ustne że jeżeli chcemy robić zdjęcia musimy zapytać o zgodę. Wykpiwszy się ustawą o prasie, strzelamy jeszcze parę fotek i udajemy się na około pod sejm, w kierunku Parku Łazienkowskiego. Tam z kolei zostajemy spisani i ostrzeżeni, podobnie jak na placu Trzech Krzyży, jednakże policjanci są uprzejmi i nawet odpowiadają nam na parę niezobowiązujących pytań, nie omieszkawszy jednak skierować nas do rzecznika prasowego policji. Wg tychże funkcjonariuszy, należy spodziewać się porządku, bo sami o niego zadbają, a jeżeli chodzi o wady szczytu - denerwuje ich to, że musieli opuścić domy rodzinne. 13:08
Park Łazienkowski jeszcze otwarty, policja obstawia jednak Urząd Rady Ministrów, oraz po parku przechadza się duża ilość patroli. Sytuacja spokojna podobnie jak w centralnej części miasta.

We`re- the photographer and the polish indymedia editor- getting off on Marsza³kowska st., close to Saski Park. As we expected – many coppers standing behind a double barrier, wore in uniforms, unarmed, supported by 30 police cars with water cannons. Even though we haven't any problems in taking photos no one didn't want to speak with us. They refer us to the public relation officer in the police headquarters. Situation is calm, police chopters on the sky. 11:52 Super Expres' journalists are taking photos of us. Then, probably overcoming their shyness, they start taking to us, asking about anti-summit, about our view concerning security, who we work for etc. calling us workmates. They confess that they thought we are the police instigators. We bid them good-bye quickly. 12:00
Rotunda, Dmowski roundabout An „independent” informative action starts under the slogan „The sensitive zone for globalism”, precisely- two men emerge with a rolled banner. They, seemingly encouraged by our press cards, come up and inform us about the action. Though we're waiting for the main co-ordinator, those two were not competent to give us any official infos. Amazingly poor police „protection”, only two police cars and one patrol. 12.10
The main coordinator of the informative action shares with us with the following informations. Asked about the purpose of the action he explains that it is independent, its members do not show their private political views beyond the main globalistic issue. The group was established spontaniously (on last saturday), it counts 15 members recruited from the young warsaw intelligence, grouped in the unhierarchic structure. Earlier the propaganda action was held in the net and the posters were put on the walls. According to what our informer said the action is legalised and it's not a sort of demonstration. It is only aimed towards warsaw unconcious citizens to provide them with information by means of talking with those interested, handing the leaflets, putting the information on the posts with texts that make the globalism issue brighter. The transparents such as "The other world is possible" can be seen. The action is to last from 12.00 to 18.00. Till 12.30 the point was visited by number of journalists and two small groups who didn't make use of the informative purpose of the point. 12:35
We're paying the visit to KFC which looks as a wooden bunker. Near the entrance we're passing a group of policemen (besides their suspicious gazes nothing happened). Three steps behind the door we were attacked by a woman who(quotation) "is a manager but not real one cause that real is absent" and because of this she is not obliged to answer to our intricate questions such as "What do you think about the summit?" ot "Are you afraid of alterglobalists?". We were not allowed to take any photos. 12:55
We are on the Three Crosses Square, close to the local "zone zero" near the Parliament. The police guard stronger here, supported by The Polish Intelligence Agency (ABW); coppers without any weapon, although full armoured. We're taking photos, they feel provoked and warn as that if we want to take photos here we should ask them. "Have you ever heard about the press rights?" we replied, took some more photos and headed to Lazienkowski Park. There we are asked to show our documents and warned again, alike on the square, although the policemen were polite and even they answered to few our questions. According to what they said it should be all right during the summit, they will take care for that,in addition they complained that they had to leave their families. 13:08
Lazienkowski Park is still open, many patrols inside "taking a walk", situation is calm like in the centre.

Un photographe et un rédacteur d'Indymédia polonais - nous descendons la rue Marszałkowska près du bord de la zone 0, à côté du parc Saski. Il y a une forte présence policière - (comme on pouvait y s'attendre). Derrière une double barrière, des fonctionnaires non-armés, seulement en vêtements de protection. Ils sont protégés par une trentaine de fourgonnettes et par des canons à eau. Nous prenons des photos sans être gênés, mais aucun policier a envie de parler avec nous. Nous sommes priés de prendre contact avec le porte-parole de la police au commissariat principal. La situation est tranquille et des hélicoptères policiers sont dans le ciel. 11h52
Des journalistes de « Super Express » nous prennent en photo et commencent à nous parler. Se remettant de leur timidité, ils nous interrogent sur l'anti-sommet, comment nous voyons les questions de sécurité, pour qui nous travaillons. Ils nous adressent en tant que collègues ;). Enfin, ils avouent qu'ils avaient pensaient que nous sommes des provocateurs policiers. Nous sommes partis rapidement. 12h00 La Ronde Dmowski
Une action indépendante de distribution d'information intitulée « Zone de sensibilité à la mondialisation » commence. Deux personnes portant un bandereau roulé apparaissent. Ils s'approchent de nous en nous informant ce que c'est l'action. Nous attendons le coordonnateur principal, parce que ces deux là ne se sentent pas compétents pour nous donner de l'information officielle. Une chose nous surprend beaucoup : la réaction policière est très faible; il n'y a que deux camionnettes et une patrouille. 12h10
Le responsable principal de l'action d'information apparaît. Il nous donne des informations suivantes :
1. L'action a un caractère indépendant et les participant-e-s ne présentent pas leur opinions ni leurs convictions politiques, sauf sur la question principale de la mondialisation.
2. Le groupe s'est organisé très vite et très spontanément (samedi dernier). Il comporte 15 personnes, des représentant-e-s de la jeune intelligentsia varsovienne, rassemblé-e-s dans une structure non-hiérarchique.
3. Avant l'action, on a effectué une action de propagande sur l'Internet. On a également distribué des affiches. Selon notre informateur (qui, malheureusement n'a pas voulu nous dire son nom et prénom), l'action est légalisée et n'a pas de caractère d'une manifestation. Elle n'a qu'une fonction informative-éducative dirigée vers le citoyen lambda.
Les organisateurs ont pour but de « dénoircir » la réputation des alterglobalistes par des conversations directes avec des gens intéressés au sujet, par la distribution de fiches d'information, et enfin, par l'installation des panneaux construits en carton présentant un grand nombre de textes qui sont courts mais percutants. Leur stand est orné de bandereaux avec des slogans comme : « Un autre monde est possible », « Les gens et la planète contre le profit ». Près du stand on a mis un tapis avec l'inscription : « La zone de sensibilité à la mondialisation ». L'action va durer de 12h00 jusqu'à 18h00. Mais jusqu'à 12h30 sont venu les journalistes en grand nombre. Il y a aussi 2 petits groupes d'apparence « punks » (nous n'avons pas encore parlé avec eux). Mais ces groupes ne profitent pas de la fonction éducative du stand. 12h35
Nous allons au restaurant KFC qui se trouve à côté de la ronde, qui a l'apparence d'un bunker en bois. Près de l'entrée un groupe de policiers passe à côté (à part des regards suspicieux rien ne se passe). Trois pas derrière la porte une femme nous attaque qui dit (on la cite [voir en (pl)]) qu'elle « est manager, mais seulement en tant qu'adjoint » et pour cette raison elle ne se sent pas obligée de répondre à des questions névralgiques comme « Que pensez vous du sommet ? » ou « Ayez-vous peur des alterglobalistes ? ». Elle nous a interdit de prendre de photos. 12h55
Nous nous trouvons sur la place Trzech Krzyży (place des Trois Croix), proche de la zone zéro autour du Parlement et du Sénat. Ici la présence policière est plus forte, protégée par le service secret (ABW), des policiers sans aucune arme, mais portant des vêtements de protection. Puisque nous prenons des photos, la police se sent provoquée, et nous prétend que si nous avons envie de prendre des photos, il faudra d'abord demander leur accord. En leur rappellant la loi sur la presse, nous prenons encore quelques photos et nous continuons vers le Parlement (Sejm), dans la direction du Parc Łazienki. Là-bas on nous avertit encore et on note quelques informations, comme sur la place des Trois Croix. Pourtant, ceux-là sont plutôt sympas et répondent à nous questions, sans nous rediriger vers le porte-parole de la police. Selon ces fonctionnaires, il faut s'attendre à ce que tout soit OK, parce qu'eux il s'en occupent. Et en ce qui concerne les aspects négatifs du sommet, ils s'ennervent parce qu'ils ont été obligés de quitter leurs maisons et familles. 13h08
Le Parc Łazienki est toujours ouvert. La police protège quand-même le Bureau du conseil des ministres, et dans le parc se trouvent nombreuses patrouilles policières. Situation tranquille, à peu près comme au centre ville.
