Na każdym rogu radośnie świecą policyjne kamizelki. Dumni chyba głównie ze swej liczebności policjanci ochoczo przystępują do czynności służbowych, gdy tylko zauważą kogoś, kto nie stylizuje się na new kids on the block.

Jest 27 kwietnia i możemy sobie na razie tylko wyobrazić, jak będzie w praktyce wyglądał pierwszy dzień „wzmożonej aktywności policji”.

Sklepikarze w Centrum obudowują witryny sklepów styropianem lub tekturą. O dziwo, robią tak również ci, których sklepy znajdują się w strefie 1 – czyli takiej, do której można będzie wejść tylko na mocy dokumentu potwierdzającego autentyczność zamieszkiwania w strefie.

Podział miasta na strefy jest przez rzecznika prasowego Europejskiego Forum Ekonomicznego uzasadniany przepisami, które owszem istnieją w polskim prawie, niemniej dotyczą klęsk żywiołowych. Mamy więc w mieście coś w rodzaju tajfunu albo trzęsienia ziemi. Tymczasem publicyści Wyborczej nadal piszą o „antyglobalistycznej hołocie”, a „dziennikarze” Życia Warszawy o tym, że protestujący chcą zniszczyć miasto. Z ostatniej chwili:
część indymediowców udała się dziś do Parku Saskiego celem omówienia edycji drukowanej, którą planujemy wydać jutro. Oczywiście policja i straż miejska postanowiły nas odwiedzić, policjant poproszony o przedstawienie się pokazał swoją blachę i odmówił podania imienia i nazwiska. Cóż. Starliśmy się przeprowadzić wywiad z panami, ale nie byli szczególnie rozmowni, powiedzieli, że nie mają jakichś szczególnych rozkazów, żeby spisywać wszystkich w parku.

The alterglobalists slowly become numerous in Warsaw. There are also more and more of police buses coming, which results with more and more controls. The Indymedia volunteers also reach Warsaw from the other cities in Poland and abroad. We hope, that the indymedia editing room will soon be ready for writers, photographers and filmmakers. We still don't know whether to announce our current address - since the officially announced conferences of anti - authoritarian and lefty groups have been rejected by the owners of the conference spaces, we are still not sure, what to do. One of the conferences was supposed to host the Rabbi of Warsaw and Łódź and the main person of the Club for Catholic Intelligentsia. Since 2 days we discuss what to do with our address, and we also think of letting the most people possible publish and use the office for media work. We try to not to get paranoic in all this.

On every corner of the central districts you can see the flashing green of police new outfit. Proud of their quantity cops are ready to offer their professional services to any person does not resemble the style of clothes used by New Kids on the block.

It's 27th now and we can now only imagine how will practically look the "season of bigger police activity".

The shop keapers in the centre provide wooden covers for their windows. Also those shops that are in the strefa 1 and 0 cover the windows, although noone will be allowed to enter there.

The division of the city into zones with different levels of accession are being justified by the laws for....the time of natural disasters. The "journalists" of main polish newspaper continue to call the alterglobalists terrorists etc, but we see, thet the summit is much worst than demonstrants.

Les manifestants contre le sommet économique européen du WEF à Varsovie sont de plus en plus nombreux (Pologne) mais il y a également de plus en plus de cars de police et donc de plus en plus de contrôle au faciès. Des activistes d’indymedia d’autres villes de Pologne ainsi que d’autres pays rejoignent Varsovie.

Nous espérons que la salle de rédaction d’Indymedia sera bientôt prête pour les rédacteurs, photographes et réalisateurs de films et que tout s’y passera au mieux

Nous ne savons toujours pas si c’est une bonne idée d’annoncer l’adresse de celle-ci car les événements antiautoritaires officiellement annoncés ainsi que ceux de groupes de gauche ont été rejetés par les propriétaires des salles effrayés par une propagande policière mensongère. Une des conférence est supposée accueillir le Rabbin de Varsovie et de Łódź ainsi qu’un des responsable du Club pour l’Intelligentsia Catholique. Depuis 2 jours nous discutons au sujet de l’annonce public de notre adresse et nous pensons également laisser la possibilité au plus de monde possible de publier des articles sur Indymedia depuis notre bureau ainsi que pour tout autre travail médiatique. Nous essayons de ne pas devenir parano avec toute cette histoire

Sur chaque coin de rue du quartier central tu es ébloui par le vert pétant des nouveaux uniformes de la police. Ils sont fiers et prêts à offrir leurs services professionnels à toutes personnes ne portant pas les habits à la " mode normale ".

C’est le 27 (veille du début du contre sommet) et c’est seulement maintenant que nous pouvons voir à quoi va ressembler cette " saison de plus grosse activité policière " tant annoncée dans les médias.

Les commerçants des magasins du centre ville barricadent leurs vitrines derrière des planches de bois. Les magasins des zones strefa 1 et 0 couvrent également leurs vitres bien que l’accès à ces zones soient interdites à toutes personnes étrangères au sommet.

La division de la ville en zones comportant divers niveau d’accès est justifiée à l’aide des lois … pour les période de catastrophes naturelles.

Les " journalistes " des principaux journaux polonais continuent d’appeler les manifestants contre le sommet économique européen du WEF des terroristes mais nous voyons que le sommet est bien pire que les manifestants.
